BoilerSync ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Chrome extension.

Information We Access

BoilerSync accesses the following information:

• Purdue UniTime Schedule Data: BoilerSync reads event information (course names, times, locations) displayed on the UniTime webpage to prepare calendar events.
• Google Calendar: With your explicit authorization, BoilerSync adds events to your Google Calendar. If a user does not want to have the application access their calendar, they can alternatively download their events as an ICS file instead.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information solely to:

• Parse your schedule from UniTime
• Create calendar events in your Google Calendar after you confirm

We do not:

• Store your calendar data on any server
• Share your information with third parties
• Sell or monetize your data
• Read, modify, or delete existing calendar events
• Access any other Google account data beyond Calendar

Data Storage

BoilerSync does not transmit or store your schedule or calendar data on any external servers. All processing happens locally in your browser. The only data sent is directly to Google Calendar's API to create the events you confirm.

Third-Party Services

BoilerSync uses Google Calendar API to add events to your calendar. Your use of Google Calendar is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Your Rights and Controls

You can:

• Revoke BoilerSync's access to your Google Calendar at any time through your Google Account permissions page
• Uninstall the extension at any time through Chrome's extension management
• Delete any events added by the extension directly from Google Calendar

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date.
